About Me

I am a photographer, writer and social scientist...this is my forum for creative expression. I am using this blog to document my days and nights in the city that never sleeps...all the photographs, unless otherwise credited, have been shot by yours truly. If I offend you...good...I hope you begin to think more critically about the world in which we live. I am here to discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly...and there is a whole lotta ugly out there!!! If you have a problem with anything that I write or photograph, let me know. It will not change my opinion but I appreciate and welcome discourse. One little bit of advice...don't do stupid things and let me photograph you...it will turn up on my blog.

Thanks.

Naked dude in my hallway part 2

I DID NOT TAKE THIS PICTURE!!
My roommate found this dude sleep in the hallway on a Saturday morning.
Funny...the real question is this: Where are his clothes? It does not look like he passed out, got hot and took his clothes off in a drunken stupor...he must have disrobed before passing out on the abandoned couch that was sitting in our hallway.

WOW!!

There is another post that involves this guy...if you seek you shall find the NAKED guy.

Party at 248 McKibbin -- moving party

Last Saturday was crazy ... Rosetta Stoned had a show with Shunda K (Yo! Majesty) in John street and then we had to jet back out to Brooklyn for a loft party at 248 Mckibbin - our friend Katie was moving and decided to paint the entire apartment and have six different bands play.

We ran into these two in the elevator on the way to the party...she had dope tattoos on her hands and he had a bottle of tequila in his pants...start of a good night.

Kaite curates the Hopsitium, an art collective that puts together art shows, auctions and live music performances around the NYC area...she is an amazing artist in her own right.

Everything except the floor and ceiling was painted...bathroom, doors, walls...everything.

Katie in all of her craziness...

Last week was crazy; four events in five days...Wednesday night was a free show at Roseland Ballroom featuring UK based rock group, Bloc Party.  Getting in with my camera was crazy, but by now I am used to it...good look Abigail.

First up - Amazing Baby...

This band is pretty awesome...check out Amazing Baby.

What' s up partygoers!!!

Next up...Bloc Party.  This was my first experience listening to this band's music and I was thoroughly impressed with the musicianship and song structures...all in all, they rocked out.

This bartender was like, 45 years old...she gave me a free beer and talked a lot of sh$t...that's what's up!!!

Sta DJ event at Irving Plaza

Tuesday night was pretty interesting; I went to an event at the Blender Theater, then attended a Live Nation Event at Irving Plaza and then hung out in Union Square...all after not sleeping for 36 hours.

Have a look.

What's up Nina.!!

I love this T shirt -- Guns n Roses was one of the dopest bands ever...don't let the Axl revival ruin the legacy.

Dj Sammy Needlz (on the right) and friend.
